Sweet!! You ordered your new grill. Now what? Now we try to keep the campfire grills and 1000 series in stock, but sometimes we get a little overwhelmed with orders. If we do go on the lead time, we'll post that lead time on the website.
We'll send you an email once it ships with tracking and if we need to, we'll give you a little more information about delivery.
Your new 1000 and 2000 series grill will arrive in a semi truck. The driver will have the ability to get it down to curb level for you. If your driveway is level with the street they can roll it closer to your home or garage. They however cannot uncrate or carry it into your backyard. Don't forget to open the crate and inspect the grill for any damage before signing you received it in good condition.
A lot of people ask how to carry the1000 series. You can remove the cooking grate and the coal grates (they just lift out) to reduce the weight significantly for a couple able bodied individuals to hand carry.
2000 series is a seriously heavy grill. Don't try to hand carry it even stripped out. You'll need to get a forklift or some other equipment to even get it off the skid.
Once you get the grill in it's new home, clean the cooking grate with soap and water and you can go straight to firing it right up. There's no break in period.
Some people like to oil the cooking grate before you, but it's not required.
However, the most important part is to make sure you send us a photo of your first cook!
Cheers!
