300 cubic inch bags of Missouri hickory chunks (3.5-4# total depending on species and moisture content.) The chunks are 1.5-2.0" in size, perfect for any smoker type or size. They're heat treated / kiln dried to stomp out any critters or mold.
Hickory is mostly used for pork and beef. Can be overpowering especially with fish and poultry. It's also our favorite. Put some on the fire right before putting steaks on the side of the grill. Quick hard smoke, right when the steak starts turning color sear it. Best of both worlds.
The chunks are perfect for low and slow smokes over charcoal fires. These chunks are dry and dense, no need to soak them (that's for chips.)
Two bags can fit in a campfire grill shipping box. Two cases (8 bags per case) can fit in 1000 and 2000 crates with no added freight fee.
