Perforated griddle plate for charcoal and wood fire grilling. Easy to use. Simply lift out the cooking grate and insert the griddle plate.
Use over a wood fire to combine the high heat searing with hint of smoke flavor.
Weighing in at 31lbs. (14kg) Very heavy duty with 1/4" thick (6.35mm) thick carbon steel construction. Optimum for heat retention and distribution.

Fits 1000 series, stainless and Argentine campfire as well as Parilla series.
Care is the same as a cast iron skillet. Wash, dry and oil with food grade oil, lard or tallow.

What a great grill, very well made, after months of looking at various Santa Maria type grills, i opted for the Braten, glad i did, it’s awesome, now to build around it for my outdoor grilling area, going to be a great summer !!!!
Great grill which can be used as an offset smoker for longer cooks or as a direct fire grill for steaks and other cuts of meat. Adjustment of the grill over direct heat makes searing easy while allowing the grill to be moved further away from the direct heat to finish the cook a bit slower.
Quality of the build is fantastic and I am positive the grill will last a long time.
Overall a great grill which I highly recommend.
When I was ordering this unit I had high expectations of the product but when I received and opened it I was blown away how well it was build. I'm giving this company a solid 5+ stars for the product, logistics and even the packaging. I absolutely love it and can't wait to finally install and to get the heavy use out of it. Completing outdoor grilling area so haven't installed grill yet. Looking forward to the first time firing up of this grill.
Assembled grill a couple days after receiving it via UPS and noticed some damage to the upper left support arm which was slightly bent. After the grill grate is adjusted to maximum height it requires help to allow it to lower itself until about halfway down by pushing down on the grill grate assembly.
I'm not sure if the bend in the left arm where the grate lift "axle" turns in the collar could cause restricted movement when lowering the grate.
