I have not installed the unit yet but was amazed at the quality while assembling it. I have searched the internet for this type of grill and found them to be very expensive. This grill is very sturdy and affordable. Can not wait to get it installed and try it out!

After owning my Braten 1000 for over 10 years, I checked out the website, while showing a friend, after cooking dinner. After noticing the new website, I saw the new Plancha Griddle. I ordered it on the spot. After seasoning it, I made bacon and eggs, pizza, lomo saltado (peruvian), fish fillets, and a ton of other things in a very short period of time. Like the Braten, it is so over-engineered, it's ridiculous! It also fits like a glove. I LOVE IT THE GRILL EVEN MORE NOW... thanks to the
additional versatility.
One more thing, I'm not a fan of double expenditures. There is no way anything here can break or wear out. Every component is basically indestructible. Thank you Chris Engelbrecht for building the greatest grill ever!!!

This is my 2nd Braten 1000 (I modified the first for a built in and moved). Live this grill, high quality build.

What a great grill, very well made, after months of looking at various Santa Maria type grills, i opted for the Braten, glad i did, it’s awesome, now to build around it for my outdoor grilling area, going to be a great summer !!!!

Great grill which can be used as an offset smoker for longer cooks or as a direct fire grill for steaks and other cuts of meat. Adjustment of the grill over direct heat makes searing easy while allowing the grill to be moved further away from the direct heat to finish the cook a bit slower.

Quality of the build is fantastic and I am positive the grill will last a long time.

Overall a great grill which I highly recommend.

When I was ordering this unit I had high expectations of the product but when I received and opened it I was blown away how well it was build. I'm giving this company a solid 5+ stars for the product, logistics and even the packaging. I absolutely love it and can't wait to finally install and to get the heavy use out of it.
